2005 Macallan 14 Year Old

With a full maturation in sherry casks for 14 years, it’s a superb dram that oozes those classic notes on the nose of spiced plums and cinnamon. The depth and flavour of this dram is something else, huge notes of raisins, hazelnuts and sherry with tiny hint of salted butter.

Gordon & Macphail are known for producing and bottling an exceptional range of whiskies, and this one in particular shows just how impressive their range is.

This Macallan single malt was distilled in 2005, and then matured in sherry casks until 2019 when it was thought to be just right to be bottled. As many would say, including us at Luxury & Rare Whisky HQ – there are few things better than a sherried Macallan.
