From 1987 – Cadenhead’s Anomaly Blended Malt

On Tuesday 11th May, we took part in the Cadenhead’s Virtual Warehouse Tasting. Cameron McGeachy and Jenna McIntosh presented this from inside the Cadenhead’s warehouse as they guided us through all 6 of the interesting and varied drams in our pack. After this spectacular tasting, we just knew we had to bring these fantastic drams to our Whiskatorians. One by one, we’ll be bringing you the entire collection, all complete with tasters!

Cadenhead’s Anomaly Blended Malt – Bourbon Hogshead – 49%

Apparently the youngest whisky in this blend is from 1987. No age statement as this was bottled and shipped to the states in 1997. Returned in 2004 and the bottles emptied into a bourbon hoggie until bottled for the Campbeltown Virtual Festival 2021. An unusual dram – with a fascinating green colour…
