Adding Israel To World Whisky Day with this Single Malt Israeli Whisky
Scotland has kicked off our gigantic World Whisky Day celebrations with the The Macallan Edition Set on the 15th of May. With Mexico, Wales, Finland, India, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark & Switzerland also running we now have France, Israel & the Netherlands to add into the night of celebrations which is aiming to be our biggest night of live draws to date!
We have never tasted whisky from Israel but this one has us really excited and we can t wait to try it. The world’s first whisky to be matured in Kosher sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. Robust aromas of red fruits, sweet malt, marshmallows and hints of tobacco fill the nose. The palate offers notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, tobacco and gentle oak spice that linger in the finish.
