Matured entirely in bourbon or American whiskey casks, 17.1 highlights how Islay’s coastal climate and changing weather shape the character of Bruichladdich’s heavily peated single malt.

17.2

Made from the same Scottish Concerto barley as 17.1, this expression gains extra depth from French red-wine oak, bourbon casks and a final maturation in first-fill port barriques.

17.3

Produced from barley grown exclusively in Irene’s Field at Octomore Farm, this five-year-old expression explores Islay terroir through bourbon and European oak casks previously used for wines including Ribera del Duero, Sauternes and Eiswein.
