Scotland has kicked off our gigantic World Whisky Day celebrations with the The Macallan Edition Set on the 15th of May. With Mexico, Wales, Finland, India & New Zealand also running we now have Sweden, Denmark & Switzerland to add into the night of celebrations which is aiming to be our biggest night of live draws to date!
The Swiss just seem to do everything with class, whether you are there skiing, or eating or no matter what it is, it just seems to be very classy. Well this single malt is absolutely no different, not only does it come in a nice wooden box but the seal to the bottle is unlike we have ever seen before, marvelous stuff. The successor to Langatun Distillery’s Winter Edition single malts, Winter Wedding is a marriage of its classic Old Deer and Old Bear whiskies. This combination of sherry, Chardonnay and Chateauneuf-du-Pape casks creates aromas of honey, sweet malted barley and wisps of smoke on the nose and throughout the palate.
