Description
Matured for 24 years initially in an ex-bourbon hogshead then finished in a 1st fill PX hogshead, after being distilled in 1997, this was bottled at natural cask strength of 58.4% and is only one of 200 bottles! From distillery number 30 (Glenrothes), this whisky profile is described as having an immensely deep and sumptuously inviting aromas with a stunning assembly of old-style, intricate, sherried qualities. This bottle was limited to only 2 per SMWS member.
