After visiting Glenora Distillery in Cape Breton on Monday, this single cask 18 year old peated expression was the one which stood out! Distilled in 2004, there are only a rare few casks which were filled with peated spirit. Whilst purchasing malt in 2004 from Scotland, peated malt was accidentally delivered to their door! Now, the PPM is unknown, but it’s definitely in-between 40-50PPM. For those who are unsure, think Ardbeg / Laphroaig peatiness!
