🥃Rare Find 1985 Glenmorangie 35 Year Old – One Of ONLY 370 BOTTLES!
An impressive single cask of a world-renowned and classic Highland single malt, distilled in 1985 and bottled 35 years later in 2020 for The Whisky Shop in their Rare Find series. Just 370 bottles were produced at 42.2%.
🥃Dailuaine 18 Year Old Sherry Matured – One of ONLY 170 BOTTLES!
Distilled in 2003 at Dailuaine Distillery, and then laid to rest for 18 years in a Sherry butt. Bottled in 2021 at 48.2% with an outturn of ONLY 170 bottles!
🥃Nomad Outland Whisky “Born In Scotland & Raised In Jerez”
Nomad is a unique whisky. A collaboration between sherry producer González Byass and Whyte & Mackay master blender Richard Paterson. A Scotch whisky aged for more than five years in sherry butts is shipped to Jerez for further year’s ageing in PX casks. One of my favourites after discovering it for World Whisky Day!
🥃Dalwhinnie Limited Edition, Distillers Edition – Oloroso Sherry Matured
One of the Double Matured, Distillers Edition series from Diageo, this Dalwhinnie Highland single malt is finished in Oloroso sherry casks. Each of the Distiller’s Editions are finished in a different wood – the sherry cask adds a layer of rich fruit to this magnificent expression.
🥃Deadhead Dark Chocolate Rum
FINE EXOTIC RUM FROM THE JUNGLES OF CHIAPAS
5 year old rum infused with organic cacao has the essence of coffee and butterscotch on the nose, the echo of dark chocolate is restrained but solidly present in the bouquet. Decadent dark chocolate flavour comes to the forefront on the first sip, layered with a back note of Bing cherry and cream soda.
