Adding Germany To World Whisky Day With A Single Malt German Whiskey
Scotland has kicked off our gigantic World Whisky Day celebrations with the The Macallan Edition Set on the 15th of May. We now have Germany to add into the night of celebrations which is aiming to be our biggest night of live draws to date!
Beverbach Single Malt Whiskey from Germany’s Hardenberg distillery is made with a combination of malted barley and malted wheat, unlike single malt whiskies from Scotland. Initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks, before being finished in casks that previously held brandy, creating a layer of dried fruit and honey notes on the palate, as well as nuts, vanilla baking spices and burnt toast.
