2007 Hazelburn 10 Year Old Single Cask

Another spectacular single cask from Scotland’s smallest whisky region, but certainly the whiskiest, is this 10 year old Hazelburn single cask, distilled at the legendary Springbank Distillery. Springbank is one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step in the whisky making process, from malting the barley to bottling the spirit, on the same premises, and Hazelburn is their unusual, triple-distilled and unpeated expression!

This Hazelburn was left to mature in a recharred bourbon hogshead, and then bottled at cask strength of 53.9%. With Springbank prices rocketing in value recently, it sure is only a matter of time before Hazelburn follows in their footsteps!
